Rebar Detailer
Chennai, Tamil NaduFull-time4 openings1 to 5 years (freshers welcome)
The role
CSZ India turns structural designs into fabrication-ready
drawings for concrete structures in Europe and North America.
As a Rebar Detailer you will produce the reinforcement drawings,
formwork drawings, schedules and models that fabricators and
site teams build from. You will work under German engineering
governance and to international standards, including Eurocode
and ACI/CSA.
Responsibilities
Prepare reinforcement drawings, bar bending schedules
and rebar placement plans for concrete structures.
Prepare structural formwork drawings and layout plans
in AutoCAD.
Develop 3D rebar models and extract drawing sheets.
Produce material take-offs for reinforcement.
Self-check drawings against quality standards before
review, and incorporate QA and client feedback.
Coordinate with engineering teams in Europe and
North America.
Requirements
Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
1 to 5 years of experience in rebar detailing and structural
formwork drawings for concrete structures. Freshers with
strong AutoCAD skills and solid structural drawing reading
are encouraged to apply.
Proficiency in AutoCAD.
Working knowledge of at least one of SOFiCAD, RebarCAD,
CADS RC or Autodesk Revit.
Understanding of concrete cover, lap lengths, anchorage
and bar shapes.
Clear written communication in English.
Good to have
Familiarity with Eurocode and BIM workflows.
Experience on European or North American projects.
Exposure to ALLPLAN or SOFiSTiK RCD.
Familiarity with precast detailing or clash coordination.
Working hours
Flexible hours, with shift work as project schedules require.
